almost impossible to capture

Ink on gold leaf panels > sealed in gloss.

They are living optical illusions. Pigment shape-shifters.
The experience hinges on the mood lighting and your added perspective.
Apparitions appear if you move just right.

Under cool bulbs > silver, grey, and violet-blue emerge.
In warm or natural light > reds, golds and the contorting take centre stage.

I’ve watched the same piece throw brilliant copper at sunrise, then settle in with a serene misty fog at night.
At eye-level: a rainbow sky. From below: moody clouds.

Each work is built from multiple perspectives > layered with intentional hidden designs ready to reveal themselves.
(It’s a workout. A laborious love affair I can’t keep away from.)

The light is in control. But what you see depends on where you stand.

Red sky in the morning.

She’s giving: Made for video.

It’s the moment just before immersion.
On the surface, a suggestion -
(whispered) > To plunge is holy.

You stand at the edge,
suspended between reflection & depth.
The illusion holds the surface tension,
until you move,
and everything changes.
