Recycled and natural materials:: Packing paper, ash, sand, clay, plaster, gypsum, coffee grounds and crushed shell bound with coloured ink, mica powders bister and Powertex - a certified non-toxic, water-based universal liquid medium that is vegan and acid-free.
The use of unconventional mediums set in a fluid resin-alternative results in an organic naturalistic texture that the human hand alone couldn't achieve via conventional painting techniques.
I also offers an exclusive high-end range featuring gold-leaf as a base or accent layer - finished in high-gloss.
Driven by a personal journey with illness, the pieces are elegies to transformation and catharsis. What began as a therapeutic outlet during recovery, evolved into a signature style that is deeply tactile and emotionally resonant.
My preference is creating bespoke, one-off commissions, working collaboratively with clients to incorporate their preferred colour pallet and ensure the artwork is perfectly tailored to its new home.
